Nur mit WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY auf false. Für sich allein gibt WP_DEBUG PHP-Hinweise und -Warnungen aus – einschließlich der absoluten Dateipfade deines Servers – direkt in die Seiten, die deine Besucher laden. Fast jedes Tutorial gibt dir diese eine Zeile und hört dann auf. Kombiniere sie mit WP_DEBUG_LOG und WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY false, und sie ist sicher.

Wohin schreibt WordPress die debug.log?

Standardmäßig nach wp-content/debug.log. Wichtig zu wissen: Auf vielen Hosts ist diese Datei öffentlich abrufbar – jeder kann sie im Browser anfordern. Du kannst WP_DEBUG_LOG stattdessen einen Pfad übergeben und das Log oberhalb des Web-Roots schreiben, was dieses Tool für dich erzeugt.

Fast immer, weil die Konstante UNTERHALB der Zeile „That's all, stop editing!“ in wp-config.php ergänzt wurde. Alles nach dieser Zeile wird ignoriert. Verschieb sie darüber.
